What would be great is web-hooks to external sources like Zapier or Make to automate it. I could automate zapier to regonize transactions in my email then make transactions or something like that

Honest answer in two parts.
A dedicated Zapier or Make integration isn't in our plans. It would mean a public API, webhooks, and an app listing that we maintain forever, and for a small team that's a big permanent commitment for something few budgeters use today.
The underlying idea, connecting Waypoint Budget to outside tools, is on our roadmap in a different form: an MCP connector that lets you link your Waypoint Budget data to AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT. The first version would be about asking questions of your own data, like "what did I spend on groceries last month" or "summarize my subscriptions", right from your assistant. Your email example is the kind of workflow that route could grow into, since the assistant can read the email and talk to Waypoint without us building a parser for every mail provider.
No timeline to share yet, so we'll leave this post open as the place to gauge interest. Votes and comments here directly help us prioritize. If you have specific automations in mind beyond the email one, list them here and they'll shape what the first version does.
