I’d love the ability to securely connect my Waypoint account to ChatGPT, ideally through an official integration, plugin, or API connection.
The goal would be to allow ChatGPT to access my Waypoint financial data—with my permission—such as transactions, account balances, spending categories, budgets, income, and savings goals. This would let me use ChatGPT as a more interactive personal finance assistant to analyze my spending, identify trends, track progress against my budget, answer questions about my finances, and help me plan savings and investment goals.
Ideally, the integration would support read-only access with granular permissions so users remain fully in control of what financial information is shared. This would make Waypoint significantly more useful for users who want to combine its financial tracking with AI-powered analysis and planning.
