Transaction Account Filter Totals - Please

In “Transactions” - When filtering transaction by month, by account of type, could you please add a total sum amount on the screen? I am trying to determine how much is spent by account or type on a monthly basis based on my filter choices. While I know there are workarounds, to export a report is just too much work.

    Hi @Julie B, this is built and rolling out now. Thanks for the nudge, it was a good one :).

    When you filter Transactions by account, type, category, tag, or search, a summary line now appears above the list with the totals for exactly what you've filtered: how many transactions, total spent, total received, and the net. Change the month or adjust the filters and the numbers update instantly.

    For your case: pick the month, filter to the account or type you care about, and the total is right there on screen. No more exporting a report just to get a sum.

    One detail worth knowing: transfers between your own accounts are left out of the spent and received totals, so a credit card payment doesn't double count against the purchases you already see. The line tells you when transfers were excluded.
