Spilt Between Goals

Feature Request

It would be awesome if i could split income amounts between 2 goals or between income and a goal. For example:


I received $150, I can split it. I click split and choose $140 to income and $10 to my Car savings. Or do $100 to Car Savings and $10 to House Savings.

I know you have a similar feature but i can only spilt that between categories and income, not goals.

    Hey @Cadin, good news: you can do this today in two steps.

    1. Open the $150 transaction and hit Split. Make one piece $140 (Income) and one piece $10.

    2. Open the $10 piece and link it to your Car Savings goal from the transaction menu.

    Each split piece is its own transaction, so the goal gets exactly $10. The same approach works if you're splitting across multiple goals, just create a piece for each amount and link it to its goal.

    e.g. Here is a split transaction:

    Clicking the MBNA Mastercard transaction allows you to link to a goal:

      I like the feature but its a but confusing? Could we make it where i can use the split button and instead of just using categories I can add goals in that list?

        Hi Caden, I’ll talk to our designer about this but goals and transactions are separate concepts thats why we kept this form simple but if we can figure out a middle ground while you use the existing flow I will let you know.
