Notifications when budget exceeded

Feature Request

We need a push notification when a budget is nearing its limit. This would

Make this solution complete. YNAB has many flaws but it has this.

    This is now complete, you should be able to see notifications for syncs and when going over budget. Hope this helps with your use case :)

      Hi Waypoint, does this only happen after going over budget? It would be nice to set or customize a threshold (50%, 75%, or 90%) per group or category to trigger alerts before going over budget.

        Good feedback. The notifications system is pretty preliminary right now but could use an upgrade. I’ll add this to the roadmap.

    Hi Anand,

    Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve added budget notifications to our roadmap. We're planning to start with in-app alerts that will let you know when a category goes over budget (after syncs, imports, etc.) as phase 1, and then follow up with push notifications so you're notified even when you're not in the app.
