I live in Belize, I saw your post in Reddit and tried out Waypoint. I love it and I’m using the free version. Do you plan to add more currencies? In belize we us BZD.
Update: the first part of this is live. Waypoint Budget is now multi-currency. If you hold an account in another currency, like a US dollar chequing account or a USD credit card, it picks up the currency from your bank (or you choose it on a manual account) and converts each transaction into your budget’s currency at the Bank of Canada rate for that day. It covers 24 currencies, and the bank’s own amount stays visible under each transaction. When you move money between your own accounts in two currencies and the bank labels it an exchange, the two sides now pair as one transfer instead of counting as income.
What isn’t there yet is choosing your budget’s own currency, for a budget in BZD, EUR or GBP. That’s the next step, and we’ll post here when it lands. Thanks for pushing on this one.

Update, Oct 15: this is being built now. The first piece is USD and CAD together: an account in the other currency gets labelled and converted into your budget’s currency at the Bank of Canada daily rate, so a mixed CAD/USD budget adds up properly. Right behind it is a base-currency setting, so a budget can run in BZD, EUR, GBP and others with the right symbol. Conversion for those currencies follows once the first piece is solid. I’ll post here as each part ships.

Oh wow I don’t think I’ve had anyone from Belize yet! It looks beautiful there :)
I do plan on adding currency support soon. I initially intended to support North America but recently have noticed a few users from across the world. So I might think on adding support for more currencies soon! It’s just a medium size project so it might take me maybe a week or two but as soon as I know more. I will update you here.
