It would be great if a budget reset, literally was that, and past transaction and rollovers from immediate month before were not calculated so that adjustments don't need to be made to reset rollovers to zero at the start of a buget rest.
Thanks @Mags Kretc, this is live now. We’ve totally updated the reset options and made it clearer so you know what you are resetting.
Reset Data has a new Rollover balances option. Pick Custom, check Budget allocations and Rollover balances, and every rollover category starts fresh at $0 while your categories and transaction history stay exactly as they are. Past transactions won't count against the fresh balance, so nothing from last month carries over and no Adjust Balance is needed.
The reset also shows you exactly what will be deleted before you confirm, with counts, so you can see what's about to go.
