I really enjoy using this app. It makes things easy to track even when i’m busy. I was looking for the ability to export from the transactions screen by month as I track spending by person (my daughter, wife and I) to see where the spend is coming from.

    Hi Matthew,

    Thank you for the kind words and for contributing to improving Waypoint Budget :)

    The Data Export was due for some maintenance and improvements for quite some time now.
    You should now be able to export transactions for your household either by Month, a Date Range, or All Time from the Profile & Settings page under Data Export.

    The CSV now includes richer data, each transaction shows the date, description, amount, category, type, account, bank, and who added it, so you can easily filter by family member in Excel or Google Sheets.

    Expenses are exported as negative amounts and income as positive, so formulas like SUM work right out of the box.
