Could you change the form of the transaction window and make it more horizontal to fit more info without scrolling. To make a note I have to do the following:
Click the transaction
Click ‘advanced’ (possibly scroll to get to it)
Scroll down to reveal ‘Notes’ button
Click ‘Notes’
Finally make the note.
Also the area of the transaction row for notes is not large so my notes end up incomplete and unusable so I have to go through the whole process just to see the note sometimes when we are reviewing out spending.
This is not huge but given the frequency of this, it becomes a lot.
Cheers

Hi Mags, thanks for laying this out step by step, it made the problem easy to see. You're right that notes were too buried, and we’ve fixed that:
Notes will be visible right on the transaction row. On your phone, the note icon now always shows next to the transaction name (there was a bug where long names could hide it), and tapping it shows the full note instantly, no editing screens needed. On desktop the note text already shows inline on the row.
When a transaction has a note, opening it from the note will land you directly on the note with Advanced already expanded. No more click, scroll, click, scroll.
Adding a note gets a shortcut too: "Add note" in the row's menu on desktop, and an "Edit note" button right in the note popup on mobile.
Even with Advanced collapsed, the note's text now shows in the summary line, so most of the time you can read it without opening anything.
This should cut your five steps down to one or two. Thanks again for the nudge!
