This is just a suggestion but I found that Claude has way better API access and much better answers and capabilities. Plus its easier to teach and have it operate commands.

A bit of context: Waypoint Budget doesn't run on a single AI model. Each feature (Money Coach, the help guide, auto-categorization) uses whichever model tests best for that specific job at a price that keeps the app affordable, and we re-benchmark as new models come out. Claude is genuinely one of the models we evaluate. If it wins on quality for a feature, we can switch that feature over quietly and all you'd notice is better answers.
So I'll close this one, not because the suggestion is wrong, but because the model mix is something we tune continuously behind the scenes rather than a one-time vote. What would help me a lot: if there was a specific answer or feature where the AI felt weak, tell me where. That's the part I can act on directly. :)

In addition, Claude can do more interactive things that Gemini can not.
