Calendar year summary of income and expenses

Hello, I am new to Waypoint and so far love it. I am trying to get a better sense of my income and expenses by calendar year. I retired in 2024 and have uploaded data for all of 2025 so far and want to be able to see what my first full year of retirement looked like. I can imagine that other would also like to see patterns by calendar year. Is it possible to add that as a default view, or at least allow a custom range so I can select the time period? Many thanks for a great Canadian app!

    Hi @Jean S, thanks for the kind words, and congratulations on the first full year of retirement!

    You'll be glad to hear this is built. The date picker on the Reports page now has a "Choose Year" option: pick 2025 and you'll get the full calendar year in one click, with total income, total expenses, net savings, and the category and income-source breakdowns for the whole year. Once you have more history, it will also compare a year against the one before it.
