Allow multiple selections when applying categories

I imported CSV files and most of the transactions came through as uncategorized. Many transactions have the same name. It would be more convenient to be able to select multiple items and apply a category to the selection rather than doing them one-by-one.

    I got good news! The bulk categorization feature you requested has been shipped today. 🎉


    You can now select multiple transactions and apply a category to all of them at once. Here's how:

      1. Go to the Transactions page

      2. Click "Bulk Edit"

      3. Select the transactions you want to categorize

      4. Choose a category to apply to all selected items


    I wanted to let you know first before sending a formal announcement to everyone later this week (as quite a few people have been requesting it).


    Would love to hear what you think. Does this meet your needs? Anything I should tweak before the wider rollout?

    Thanks for flagging iamclaus. Bulk updates has been on my roadmap as flagged by someone else but moving this up priority for this week.
